Registration Fee...$25
Join us for the first in our series of Mission: International events. Prompted by the new Free Trade Agreements with Chile, Peru and Colombia, and by Brazil's traditional role as the engine of South America's economy, the WVDO is vigorously pursuing business opportunities for WV companies in South America.
On February 29, we will bring together experts from Brazil, Chile, Peru and Colombia for a seminar and one-on-one meetings with any interested companies at Stonewall Resort, to discuss your company's potential in these markets.
If you're considering these markets, don't miss this opportunity for expert advice about your market potential and sales strategies.
You'll also learn more about the state's upcoming Trade Mission to Brazil and Chile, in June 2008, and plans for a future trade mission to Peru and Colombia.
A representative from the Small Business Administration will also be available for meetings to discuss financing issues related to exporting.

Visit WIKITRAVEL Before Your Next Trip
Learn and talk about travel online at wikitravel.org
You've probably used Wikipedia, the wildly popular Web encyclopedia created and maintained by thousands of volunteers. Well, the concept has been so successful that now there are new "wikis" popping up every day, for all kinds of subjects. An especially good one, to my mind, is Wikitravel. If you're planning a trip you should visit the site, because it's got articles on just about every destination you can think of. The beauty of Wikitravel is that it's written by travelers, and they give you the kind of common sense tips and advice that you can't get elsewhere. Someone who just got back from China yesterday may write an article, and you'll get information that's as current as possible. There are over 17,600 destination guides, and that number is growing every day. You'll find links within each article to information about restaurants, transportation, lodging, attractions, and much more.
